  Nordic Attac Summer Forum will be held from the 9th – 12th of August on
  idyllic Parkudden\, an hour north of Stockholm. Attac’ies from all the 
 Nordic countries will meet for political\, cultural and social exchange\, 
 in addition to sun\, swimming and sauna!\n\nPlace: Parkudden\, Barnens ö\

 organisations invite you to be part of a summer forum where we share exper
 iences on ongoing campaigns\, learn more about the current crises and disc
 uss alternatives. There will be time to reflect and relax\, and to work on
  specific campaigns!\n\nParticipants’ fee is 600 SEK for food and lodgin
 g during 4 days.\nFor Norwegian participants: pay 510 NOK to Attac Norway

 \n\nThursday 9th of August\nTheme: The Nordic Political Situation and the 
 Nordic Attac chapters\n\n- Update on the Nordic countries\, followed by di
 scussions in smaller groups to get to know each other.\n- A presentation o
 f the campaign for tax haven free cities.\n- Is the Nordic Welfare Model s
 till relevant? The beginning of a discussion on strategies and tactics.\n\
 n&nbsp\;\n\nFriday 10th of August\nTheme: The situation in Europe\n\n- The
  economic\, democratic\, political and social situation in Europeas it evo
 lves.\n- A European case study: Spain. Introduction by Cristina Asensi\, A
 ttac Spain.\n- Strategy and tactics in Europe. The fight against the auste
 rity programs. Open session.\n\n \n\nSaturday 11th of August\nTheme: Poli
 tical Campaign Work\n\n- Media and their disinformation campaigning\, with
  the example of Greece.\n- Our language – are we working consciously wit
 h words and phrases? Are we too concentrated on facts and too little on ou
 r basic values and feelings?\n- Lobbying\, networking\, alliance-building 
 – our experiences from different countries and situations (Open session)
 \n- Bank actions – Workshop. Experiences from creative campaigning in Ma
 lmö and future visions.\n- Campaigns. What’s on for autumn 2012?\n\n&nb
 sp\;\n\nSunday 12th of August\nTheme: Summarizing\n\nTime to sum up our co
 llective positions\, proposals and ideas for campaigns.\n\n*** *** ***\n\n
 There will be time for smaller group discussions and other activities\, in
  the morning\, between 12.00 and 15.00 and in the evenings.\n\nThe general
  language in sessions will be English\, but whispering translations can be
  arranged and direct translation if someone prefers to speak their mother 
 tongue. Working groups decide language themselves.\n\nLogistics\n\nAccommo
 dation: Indoors approx 30 people. Possibilities for camping for 15-20 peop
 le.\n\nFood: We will do our own cooking through shared volunteering.\n\nWe
  can arrange child care during sessions\, if asked for.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n
